AHMED EFENDİ BATH
Located southeast of the Aziziye Mosque, Ahmed Efendi Bath was built as a double bath in 1672-1676 as an Ottoman foundation work. Constructed with rubble stone material, the building was designed as a double bath. Both sections were built in a classical understanding, cruciform, with four iwans and corner seclusion cells. One of the interesting aspects of the bath is that the men's section has a felting unit, which is not seen in all Turkish baths. The bath is still operating today in accordance with its original design.
