AKŞEHİR HASAN PASHA MOSQUE
Hasan pasha mosque, also known as Imaret Mosque because it was built together with an almshouse, was built in 1510 by a vizier named Hasan and underwent a serious repair in 1895-1896. Hasan Pasha (Imaret) Mosque, which was built as a foundation work, was built of cut stone material. In the single domed structure, clam-shaped grooved squinches were used as transition elements. The three-eyed last congregation place on the entrance facade of the building was designed as two storey. The building, which is a typical Ottoman mosque with a single dome and a three-celled last congregation place, has a minaret with a single balcony, also made of cut stone. The palmete motifs on the mihrab and pulpit of the building and the wooden ornamentation details on the window wings are remarkable.
