HACI HASAN MOSQUE

The building, also called Kadı Mürsel Mosque, was built in 1409 as a foundation work by  Mürsel son of Hacı Mustafa, one of the statesmen of Karamanoğlu Mehmed Bey's time. The building is also called Kadı Mürsel Mosque for this reason. The building, which was built with rubble stone and cut stone material in places, has a rectangular plan. The harim part, which is divided into three pitches perpendicular to the mihrab wall with four wooden poles, is covered with a wooden covered ceiling and a hipped roof on the outside. There are rich examples of pencil ornamentation on the wooden ceiling coverings. There is one ablution faucet on each side of the main entrance of the mosque in the north. The minaret in the northwest corner of the building is made of brick and has a single balcony. One of the most important features of the building is the sundial on the body wall.
