HACI VEYİSZADE MOSQUE

Hacı Veyiszade Mosque, located to the west of Mevlana Cultural Center, was built in the 19th century as a foundation work. The building, in which rubble stone and sometimes brick and cut stone materials are used together, has a rectangular plan. The harim part of the building is divided into three levels with six wooden poles. There is a women's cloister at the upper part of the harim entrance. The mosque is covered with a wooden covered flat ceiling from the inside and a four-sided hipped roof from the outside. The transverse rectangular single volume last congregation place of the building is carried by three wooden poles similar to those in the harim section. The single-balcony minaret of the building is located in the northwest corner. Traces of the original structure are found in the mihrab and women's cloister parts of the building, which has been largely renovated.
