KARAMAN DİKBASAN MOSQUE

Dikbasan Mosque, which was built in 1436 as a foundation work, was constructed of stone material with a rectangular plan. The harim part of the building consists of four pitches parallel to the mihrab wall with twelve rectangular piers. The upper floor of the entrance court of the building is reserved as  women's part. Dikbasan Mosque, which is covered with a wooden flat ceiling from the inside, is covered with a hipped roof from the outside. The exterior façade of the structure, which is quite plain, has examples of pencil ornamentation with 19th century features in the harim part and on the surface of the mihrab. This situation also indicates that the building underwent a repair process in the 19th century.
