HOROZLU (RUZBE) HAN

Located on the Konya-Aksaray route, the inn was built between 1246-1249 by Emir Esedüddin Ruzbe, the Atabey of Keykavus II period, as a foundation work. Built of cut and rubble stone, the building belongs to the plan group of Seljuk inns with open and closed sections. Today, the open part of the building has been demolished and the closed part is covered with a pointed vault. The closed part is divided into ten pitches with sixteen square piers and these ten pitches are symmetrically distributed on both sides of the center pitch on the entrance axis.
