DOĞANHİSAR ÇARŞI MOSQUE
Built in 1521 as a foundation work, Çarşı Mosque is also called Pazar Mosque.  Built of rubble stone, the building has a rectangular plan close to square. The building, which was designed as a women's quarters above the entrance, has lost its architectural features to a great extent. The most interesting part of the mosque is the ceiling covered with wood. The inner surface of the ceiling, which has ornaments made in pencil work and painting technique, gives a clue about the original state of the building.
