ZENBURİ MASJİD

Zenburi Masjid, located southeast of the Shams Tabrizi Mosque, dates to the 13th century. Built as a foundation work, it has a square plan with a single dome. The dome of the building, built of brick as well as the body walls, is covered with lead from the outside. The cylindrical minaret of the masjid, which has a glass window in the north that was added later and serves as the last congregation place, is located in the northwest corner of the building. The minaret, whose balcony has been demolished, shows brick and tile ornamentation details in places.
