The Great Mosque of Kâzımkarabekir, which has names such as the Great Mosque, Nevruzoğlu Mosque, Gaferiyat Mosque, was built as a foundation work in the 14th century during the Karamanids period. Built of stone material, the mosque has a rectangular plan. The building consists of an enclosed last congregation place and four courts parallel to the mihrab wall, equal in size to this unit. The harim section formed by the pitches crossed by pointed arches is covered with a wooden ceiling from the inside and a hipped roof from the outside. There is a ceiling core made in a simple style in the center of the court in front of the mihrab. The tile mosaic mihrab of the building, which continues the Seljuk tradition, is quite remarkable. The mihrab which has 13th century characteristics displays geometric motifs. The minaret in the northwest corner of the mosque is built of cut stone material and has a single balcony.
