KARAMAN ÇELEBİ MOSQUE
As a foundation work, it was built by Sheikh Çelebi, son of Alaeddin, during the Karamanids period, at the end of the 14th century and the beginning of the 15th century. The building, which has a three-celled last congregation place, was built of cut stone material with a square plan and a single dome. The dome, which is covered with lead, is crossed by inner sliced squinches. It is possible to see a geometric ornamentation consisting of herbal motifs in an inverted U-shaped writing belt on the mihrab of the masjid, which is quite plain and bears the characteristics of the period.
