BEYŞEHİR İSMAİL AGA MADRASAH

İsmail Aga Madrasah, a foundation work, is located to the west of Eşrefoğlu Mosque and was first built by Seyfettin Süleyman Halil Bey in the late 13th century. The structure took its present form in 1369 with the repairs carried out by Haliloğlu İsmail Ağa. The single-storey madrasah with an open courtyard and a single iwan was built with cut stone material. Opposite the madrasah, there is İsmail Ağa Tomb, which is also called Süt Tekkesi (Milk Tekke) because of the women who came to pray.
