KARAMAN ARABOĞLU MOSQUE
Araboğlu Mosque was built in 1493 as a foundation work. Built of cut stone material, the building has a transverse rectangular plan. The harim section is divided into four pitches parallel to the mihrab wall with twelve piers. The first pitch on the entrance façade of the building is largely reserved as a women's section. The cylindrical minaret with a single balcony is located in the northeast corner of the mosque. It is possible to see ornamental elements on the western entrance door and the mihrab surface of the Araboğlu Mosque, which is quite plain. One of the most interesting parts of the building is the dragon-headed gargoyle on the eaves molding on the exterior façade.
