FAKİH DEDE TOMB
Fakih Dede Tomb, located on Pir Esat Street within the historical bazaar texture, was built by Karamanoğlu İbrahim Bey in 1456 as a foundation work for Burhaneddin Fakıh Pasha, a scholar and mystic. The mausoleum, which was built of rubble stone, cut stone and brick in places, is covered with a dome from the inside and a polygonal conical cone from the outside. The tile ornamentation detail around the inscription arch above the entrance to the cist floor is remarkable. Although dated to the Karamanids period, the building reflects the characteristic features of Seljuk art in terms of its architectural features and tile decorations.
