KARAMAN DAVGANDOS MOSQUE

Davgandos Mosque was built in the 15th century during the Karamanids period as a foundation work. Built of cut stone material, it is a square-planned single-domed mosque with a three-celled last congregation place covered with a dome. The dome covering the harim part of the structure is carried by pendentives and externally covered with lead. The entrance part of the harim is programmed as a women's section. The minaret located in the northwest corner of the structure is built of cut stone material like the structure and has a single balcony.
