MAHKEME BATH
Located northwest of the Şerafeddin Mosque, the Court Bath was built in 1464 during the Karamanids period as a foundation work. The building, also called Hamam-ı Cedid (New Bath), was once called Mahkeme Hamamı (Court Bath) due to the court building located nearby. Built with rubble stone and brick materials, the structure was designed as a double bath. Both sections were built in a classical understanding, cruciform, with four iwans and corner seclusion cells. The bath has undergone serious repairs in the process and partially lost its original plan features. Today, the bath still operates in accordance with its original plan.
