SHEİKH ALİ SAMARKANDİ MASJİD
Sheikh Ali Samarkandi Masjid was built in the late 15th and early 16th centuries as a foundation work. Although the owner is not known exactly, the building is associated with Sheikh Ali Samarkandi. Built of cut stone material, the structure has a square plan. The square-planned harim section is covered with a lead-covered dome carried by pendentives and resting on a polygonal pulley. The pulpit of the structure, which has a simple porch at the entrance, has lost its originality to a great extent, and the mihrab section with a stalectite reccessed arch is original.
