Ereğli (Cigalzade) Bedesten, located within the old city texture of Ereğli, was built by Cigalzede Sinan Pasha in 1605 as a foundation work. Built with rubble stone material, the building has a rectangular plan. The rectangular bedesten consists of five brick vaulted units in the east-west direction carried by six pointed stone arches. The building does not have classical bedesten plans and architectural features. However, it is quite similar to Rüstem Pasha Caravanserai in terms of plan, material preference and architectural features.
