KARAMAN SİYAHSER (KARABAŞ VELİ) COMPLEX
Built in 1467 in the 15th century as a foundation work, the complex consists of a mosque and a dervish lodge. The mosque and dervish lodge parts, built of cut stone, have an organic connection with each other. The mosque part has a rectangular plan and consists of four courts parallel to the mihrab wall with six square piers. The northernmost stage has been enclosed with six glazed windows by adding a mahfil floor and this part has been transformed into a last congregation place. This unit, which was transformed into the last congregation place, is adjacent to the dervish section in the north. The building, which has a flat ceiling with wooden beams from the inside, is covered with a hipped roof from the outside. The minaret in the northeast corner of the building is built of cut stone and has a single balcony. The dervish lodge part of the complex is located to the south of the mosque. There is an ablution fountain in the center of the dervish lodge section, which was built of cut stone material with a closed courtyard and two iwans, and there are vaulted units around it.
